What is Zoo Rain?
Zoo Rain is a time-based storm that spawns animals back-to-back in one channel. It’s the fastest way to rack up catches and quest progress.
Starting a rain
- Run /rain and choose how many minutes to spend.
- You can also use the quick buttons (1, 2, 3, 5, 10, 30 minutes).
- Your first rain grants 2 free minutes (one-time welcome boost).
- Rain minutes are server-bound unless you were gifted global minutes.
- Your available minutes appear in /rain and on your inventory card.
Getting more rain minutes
- Battlepass rewards and achievements can grant minutes.
- Players can gift rain minutes directly.
- Store bundles add minutes instantly to your account.
Rain minutes
Minutes come from store purchases, gifts, and rewards. The bot spends server minutes first, then global.
Active rain rules
Rains cannot overlap. If the channel already has a rain or active spawn, you have to wait.
Rain recap
At the end, the channel gets a recap with top catchers, total catches, and loot highlights.
Best time to use
Use rain when your server is active. More catchers = more progress.
What rain affects
- Catch volume skyrockets — great for battlepass quests and bounties.
- Rain catches still count for total catches and most quests.
- Fastest catch records are not updated during rain.
Rain in action
During rain, you will see a rapid mix of common and rare animals. It’s about speed and teamwork.
What rain does not change
- Rain does not change rarity odds — it just gives more spawns.
- Rain does not change your fastest/slowest personal records.
- Rain does not guarantee specific animals, so use prisms and bounties to guide your grind.
Time-based vs catch-based
Normal rain is time-based: you pick minutes and the storm lasts that long.
Some perk-triggered rains are catch-based and end after a set number of spawns.

Two systems can trigger rain without using minutes:
Rain recap details
When a rain ends, the recap highlights:
- Top three catchers in the storm.
- Total animals spawned during the rain.
- Notable boosts (prisms, drugs, blessings) that landed.
Rain flow (step‑by‑step)
- Pick a duration in /rain.
- The channel announces the storm start.
- Animals spawn rapidly until the timer ends.
- A final recap message appears with winners and totals.
What you’ll see during rain
- Rapid spawns: the next animal appears almost immediately after a catch.
- Boost lines: prisms, blessings, and Drug Den perks can stack together.
- Auto‑drops: some perks grant packs or bonus influence during rain.
Common issues and fixes
- Rain won’t start: another rain is already active in that channel.
- No messages: the bot lacks Send Messages or Embed Links permissions.
- Recap missing: check that the bot can post in the same channel.
Best practices
- Announce rain to your server so people show up.
- Pair rain with prisms for better rarity bursts.
- Use rain to finish “catch X animals” quests fast.
- Don’t chase fastest time during rain — save that for normal spawns.
Permissions required
The bot needs Send Messages and Attach Files in the channel to start a rain and post catches.
Rain etiquette
- Let the channel know before you start a long rain.
- Do not spam multiple rain requests in different channels.
- If you start a rain, stick around — rains feel best when the host is active.
