Boosts, master forge perks, and the limits behind the glow.
Prisms are server-bound boosts that can bump an animal’s rarity up by one step. They belong to the server you earned them in and can be traded like animals.
You’ll see prism effects directly in catch messages when a boost lands.
Prisms are auto-named using the NATO alphabet: Alpha, Bravo, Charlie… through Zulu, with suffixes Two to Twenty.
There are 520 unique prism names per server. Once they're used, no more can be crafted in that server.
Forged at Drug Den level 11. Master prisms are custom named, custom colored, and count as 22 prisms for the server boost and 44 prisms for the owner’s personal boost.
Boosts grow steadily, but each extra prism adds a slightly smaller bump than the last.
Global boost: everyone benefits from the server’s total prism count.
Personal boost: your own prism count adds an extra layer on top.
Example: if a server has 25 prisms and you personally own 6, you’ll feel the global lift plus a personal nudge. Adding more still helps, just in smaller steps.

Master prisms don't just look legendary — they count as 22 prisms toward the server boost and 44 toward the owner’s personal boost. That means the owner feels a noticeably bigger lift without breaking the server balance.
Master prisms are server-specific. If you switch servers, you won’t see them there.
These are the kinds of animals you might see jump tiers when a prism lands.
If a prism tries to boost a max-rarity animal, it can't go higher. Instead, it triggers a rain extension: an extra 2 minutes of Zoo Rain added to the channel.
When you forge a Master Prism, you pick a custom name and a color. Colors accept basic color names (like red, blue) or hex values if you want something specific.
The name appears everywhere: inventory, catch messages, and leaderboard badges.
Prisms are tradable like animals. If you trade a prism away, your personal boost drops, but the server’s total stays the same unless the prism leaves the server.
Master prisms are also tradable, but most players keep them as their signature flex.
If your server has a lot of prisms, your global boost rises; your personal prisms then add a second layer on top.
No. Once a prism exists in a server, it stays until traded or removed by nuke.
No. Each player can forge one Master Prism per server.
Boosts always “apply” — if the animal is max rarity, it turns into a rain extension.
No. Prisms only affect catch rarity, not pack upgrade chances.
Every server has a fixed list of prism names. Once the list runs out, new prisms stop appearing in that server.
This keeps servers from inflating boost power forever, and makes prisms feel like a true resource.
Boost power grows quickly early on, then slows as the server fills up. This keeps new prisms exciting without breaking balance.
